First Witness was a Girl by the Name of Rachel, who done the Killing. States that She had a gun in her possession which she found which her father Swapt for the one she had on Sunday Evening last and they left Mr Stewarts to come over to Mr Colmans plantation and Sally was walking before her and did not Know that the fun was loaded She states that she had the musel in front, and the gun went off. Mr. Stewart Cay[?] Sworn States that on Sunday Eveng about three Oclock he Saw the Girl Sally and Rachel Start[?] from his house, towards Mr. Colmans place and did not Know that they were any animosity between them believes they were friendly, and they had not left but a few moments before he heard the report of a gun and he then went out to [?], Saw them both down and Rachel trying to git Sally up, found the discharge of the gun had taken affect in the right side then we Qualified Dr. Thos [?], he was called in to see the care[?], he after examined the the patient he found she was compelled to die, he asked the Girl Sally If she was firendly with Rachel, and She said she was, that they was playmates, and that Rachel did not Know the Gun was loaded, and that she thought it was purly axcidental,
