remarked that he had rather be dead than to be poor and beholding ... saw that the Bosom of the Deceased was on fire ... witness put her hand on the fire to put it out and she felt the Blood gushing out ... the Witness have heard the deceased say oftimes[?] that he had rather be dead than alive that said Deceased was of a very high nervous temperament and passionate ... she thought for some time that Adam Barker was distressed about Something and on Yesterday evening while on the Piazza Dr Barker Adam Barker and her Self talked for some arguable together and after Dr Barker left the witness & Adam B. got up and did as above stated
