Transcription: 

James Burns sworn says on the night of April 22 1876 Sleeping with Disceased, Heard Pistol fire. Heard Deseased hollering (O lord, farewell world) head Mrs. Nancy[?] [?] call me to open the door. Opened door. I say down on [?] Mrs Grogan[?] was tring to get light. I came out of room. Heard Pistol Shoot afterwards. Saw him have Pistol in hand. Pistol produced & recognized. Saw him put Pistol under Pillow before deseased went to Bed. I am 12 years of age. About I have after I went to Bed dicease wake me up & asked me if I heard any [?]
