Ephram Ashford sworn Says that the lived in the same house as deceased the her name was Silvy Thomas and that she was his great Grand monther. That on last night the 28th of April 1887 just as the rain commenced he went in the back room for the purpose of moving his grand mother in the front room called her as she did not answer he caught her to awake her and found that she was dead, he then told his grand mother that his grannie was dead. Witness then went for some of the neighbors, his brother Briston, & sister Fann were all home at the time he found she was dead, he lives on the place of Ben Glenn's in Fairfield County S.C.
