L. G. Byars sworn says: Witness is acquainted with the dec'd. J. H. Webster was boarding at wtiness home when he died.... I went with Little & found dec'd lying in the ally between Dr. Fort's store and my lumber house. I spoke to him & dec'd told me he was shot or that he had shot mimself... I asked him why he did that for. He said, you will find out. L. G. Byars
