Post Mortem Examination by Dr Thos Y Harris Being Sworn I swear that I find that some projectile, apparently a large rifle ball has entered the right nostril passing through the bones of the face & dislocating the atlas of the spine from the head & passing out of the body about half an inch from the spone, of the said Sam Dehay. Upon dissection I could not find the ball & the having been dead some days I cannot swear positively what kind of projectile it was but that there passed some projectile that was sufficient to kill.
