Elizabeth Sullivan being Sworn saith she was at Home when the gun fired, in presence of Daniel Osborne & her mother. She was sitting on the Door sill her mother sitting near the Door & Daniel out of the House by her was her brother Patrick the gun fired between day light dawn & dark she heard the shot rolling in the leaves & immediately she got up went round to the end of the kitchen stood there about a minute & then got a Drink of water. She heard a mourning noise like some person crying towards the place the gun was fired - the noise hushed immediately. Saw Sampson about three minutes ager the Gun fired he had time to have got home after the gun fired before she saw him - knows that Sampson was mad with his master because he did not use him well this was about two months ago - heard Nat Robinson say her father had Struck him & appeard very angry... About sundown, Robinson & Sampson went in the pasture to carry Hog & Sampson returned saw him a Quarter of an hour before the gun fired...
