Emily Foosher Being Sworn Says that she lives in the County of Laurens. Marilsey Malone was living with me and my husband. She sat up and smoked on the night of the 22nd Sept 1890. We went to bed left her sitting up in a short time she blew out the lamp and went to bed This was between 9 & 10 oclock in the 22nd of Sept 1890 - in the morning she was late getting up my husband went to her room and called to me and said Marilsey Malone was dead. I went to her bedside and found her dead. She was to the best of knowledge about 75 or 8- years old. I think she had heart affection. She has lived with me about three years.
