Judge Griffith being sworn says that on the Eleveneth day of January Miss Martin gave him a powder and to him to Give it to Emily Griffith. Witness says he asked Miss Martin if he was to give it all at one dose and she said yes. Witness says he took the powder home where his mother Emily Griffith was sicjk, and gave the powder to his wife, Bettie Griffith, and told her to give his mother the powder.
