Mary Terry Sworn Saw Henry Little was at my house Sunday night Oct. 8andleft about 5 or 8 oclock I heard the Shots think they Shot 4 times Henry was at my house Weds -- as Thursday Knight well he Struck me 2 or 3 times with his hands he got mad because I got Mr. Bill Arant to bring a pack of flower from Pageland So he said I don't kow of Henry having any trouble with any one over there except my self. . .

He came to the buggy and get in it and we Come off up the road and saw 2 fellos coming down there meeting us and he told me to drive up just as we got against them they raised their guns and just as we Passed by them they Shot I lay over on the buggie dash . . .I jumped out of the buggie and ran down the road they was both white men but don't know who they was one of the men was Low heavy set and they other man was little taller and no so heavy set there was 2 or 3 Shots fired.
