As Douglas started to W. W. Merriman, Merriman started to run and sad Mr Douglas don't push me with your back when he did. Dock took his gun odd his shoulder and cocked it and shot him. Did not raise gun to shoulder at first shot . . . at Second shot Douglas Fell dead and we walked off her him . . . was dipping turpentine has his gun to shoot crows lurking, then was fire nearly between Dock and Douglas. Dock was running and Douglas was running after him, had his back drawn . . .
