sometime in the night about 11 or 12 Oclock She was awakened by loud talking in here yard at her house where Jacob Horn lived some persons unknwon to her was inquiring of the said Horn who was in the yard the way to the big Road saying they were strangers and ask the said Horn to show them the way to the big Road he told them he would not go with them for he did not know what might happen and then They said I will shoot you and as he turned round to go into the house they maliciously fired three distinctes[?] shots
