he saw three boys sitting on a fence about two hundred yard from his house ... he immediately said he had Shot his brother accidently and was crying

that himself John Stone and Elijah Stone, on yesterday 23 inst. Were hunting, and returning home ... he heard the report of a gun, he looked back & Elijah Stone had fallen to the ground, and his brother John Stone, Standing some five or six steps off, or moving in the direction towards witness, with his Gun lying across his arms.
