Jacob Harris called Columbus Harris & said some there & sain he was not going to take any more of Ed's jaw. Then Columbus shot (being some 20 yds off) with a pistol & the dec'd fell exclaiming oh! putting his hand to his side. Then Jacob shot with a gun & Columbus again shot with a pistol. after that she & her daughter Mary Bridges went down to where he was lying & examined & found him shot in the left side & bleeding from the wound.
