Leah Young - being sworn deposes and Says - Wife of Anderson Young - Rebecca East - came to my house on the Last of March - she worked one day and a half. On Sunday she was sick all day (the 2nd Sunday after her move) She asked for water to wash - after washing, threw the water a way herself, shut off the door, on her return... discovered blood on the bed quilt asked her what was the matter said she had a head ache Heard her grungting Asked her if she was going to get up said she would do so when (Leah) went to the fields went and left (Farrah) her little boy to watcher (Rebecca) when she returned she had changed her clothes. She was setting down grunting holding her - the lower part of her belly. Concluded that she had after pains. "Leah" soon informed her mother that she had seen her dig a hole with a hoe. She went to the hole and discovered nothing but paper... found a second hole which was surrounded by blood and leaves... saw at the hole, where the bones & hair were found, the same piece of Quilt.
