Julia Deal being sworn says she lives in this city. This dead child is the child of Adeline and Alfred Teague it is two weeks old. I acted as Midwife at the birth of the child it was a sound and healthy looking child, I have been with the Mother all the time have not seen any thing wrong with the child. This morning about 6 ocklock I went into the room. The Mother woke up and took her Babie and said what is the matter with the babie, I went to her and the Babie was dead. There was blood coming out of its nose and some on the bed. The Mother has been taking good care of the babie, she nursed it from her breast.
