Transcription: 

Sallie G Whalan who being duly sworn says she is the mother of deceased. Last saw deceased yesterday evening the 15th of July 1882. Witness left deceased in the house where she lives and went to a neighbors house and stayed away about 10 minutes when witness returned the deceased was missing... she was found by of the neighbors in a pool or pond of water...
