Emiline Scott being sworn says: deceased died at my house, had been sick about 12 days, came home from school sick complaining of his head. Brought him home on a mule, he had been eating plums, he said that John Posy struck him on his head, that he had been doing well enough until John Cory[?] struck him, he said that John licked[?] to killed him with a piece[?] board he repeated it several time. I felt to[?] his head and I could not tell that he was hurt. Complained of his head until he died

he was called in to see Can Abraham about 26 hours before his death and that in his judgement, the said Can Abraham was laboring under a [?] attack of Lypho Malarial Fever from the effect of which he died
