Personally appeared Elender Stevens before the Hury of inquest and being Duly sworn saith that on the 17.th day of July at night that Sam.l Taylor & James Huggins came to the House of Enoch Stevens and broke down the door of the House that we ware Sleeping and James Huggins came in to the house and took Mr Stevens out of the house and called Samuel Taylor to help him, and deponent out of the house and Samuel Taylor as she thought was in the act of Stabing of the said Stevens in the back and I Look Taylor away from Stevens and dont recollect anything more.
