This man was admitted to the hospital about one month ago, as you know, after having received burns in the Pageland Jail. Besides the burs, he was almost suffocated from the inhalation of head and smoke from the fire in the closed building. It is my impression that this man died from the damage done to his lungs as a result of his inhaling so much smoke and heat in his buring jail cell. J. G. Faulk, M.D.
