Jonnie Atkins sworn . . . Cleo Perdue come in my Garage about 12:30 P.M. Had bottle . . . Had opened it drink all of it in my Garage (Bottle displayed & recognize as same Bottle & wrapping) Alcohol is labeled as 70% . . . I don't know what time he left
Sanford Huggins Sworn I met Cleo on street . . . He asked me to go to Chesterfield with him I couldn't tell at that time where he was drinking or not. that's about 12 30 I asked how long he was going to stay. He said about 75 minute I got ou truck with him about 1 o'clock started to Chesterfield -- Gus Polson, Mr. Haithcock -& I and Rayfield on the truck with us. Gus Polson & Ford Rayfield were on truck when I got on Haithcock got on after me. I didn't know he was drunk when I left with him . . . Ford Rayfield was sitting behind Gus Polson. We went across Rail Road. I told Cleo if he was going to drive like that [faded] off. He didn't ans me near Mr. Holt [???] house he started to have highway. I took hold of steering wheel & pulled back into road after boy had fell off float of hill I asked him to stop Boy had fell off said he didn't have time he'd started to Chesterfield. I put truck out of gear & switched if off. We were making about 4 mi per Hour. Stopped come back to boy in road . . . Boy was dead when we reached him
