Yes, I was and my son Billie was also. . . as we were traveling along between pageland and MtCroghan, S.C.. . . we met a car traveling pretty fast, and had bright lights, and also fog lights. The first thing I knew I heard the crash. I saw something in front of us, but we didn't know what it was. We were hyst passing the lights of the car that was meeting us, and just as it passed I saw this object in front of us. The object was in the middle of our side of the road, and did not have any lights at all. I just saw a big bulk, and later I found out it was James Lynch, colored, riding a mule that he had hit. . .
