Shalotte Little being sworn says I came home Monday evening 16th from the field little after sun down. I wist him & found him in the well . . . I came to the house & got the lock & went to the well. I saw him in the well. I went and told [?????] Waters about it. . . . I make a face that leaving him along had not been good sense. I left the well covered. He could not talk. He is about 10 years old. We got him out little after. . . I am the mother of William Sandy Little.
