William Mason being sown says Enoch Adams was throwing down cotton seed to me at night the seed had stopped coming and after a while I called Adams. After awhile after the seed had given out I looked for him I saw one of his hands sticking out from middle of the seed the rest of his body was covered up with seed about waist deep I . . . Alex McNeal and my self took him out . . .
