Wm. McDowell sworn says I am the husband of Sallie McDowell the dec'd. We lived together in this house in Spartanburg County, S.C. I left home on past Monday morning and went to town to work. Have not been back since until this morning. I left her as well as usual. Hear health has not been good for four years, but she has been better this year than for the four last past. She had [?] disease and [?] colic and [?]ing in the stomach. Last fall she had a bad spell of colic.
