Sampson Babb sworn says that I saw John Kellett strike Aaron Mcmahan with a knife on the 11th Inst at James Owens, in Laurens Co S.C. I saw the blood gush out from Aarons left side when Kellett's hand left the place Kellett had a pistol in his hand but did not use it he then left immediately Aaron was badly hurt and we helped him to the house I Examined his wound found he was badly hurt he was then removed home on the 10th Inst I heard Kellett sweare that he intended to kill Aaron McMahan...
