Young Pitts being sworn deposes & saith, myswlf & wife and the negro Mary Ann were all down at my fathers on yesterday I went down to the creeke I saw her tracks near the creek I knew that it was her tracks discovered her on the other side of the creek, not moore [sic] than six or eight feet from the water.
