Transcription: 

Joseph Sullivan being sworn on oaths saith that the deceased James V Craven was at his store on Saturday evening last he left then about that time intoxicated and that in order to go to his place of residence he had to cross the River that his hat was found on Sunday morning by some boys in the River... that he believes him to drowned by Accident.
