JA Mays being Duly Sworn says he lives near this place says we were clearing out North Creek near thr mouth of the Creek we were cutting out some tree tops from the Creek. An Ash tree being partially Cut off - gave way or fell. From the stump - Daniel Fowler one of the hands at work and while clearing out some undergrowth was caught under the body of the tree, we lifted the tree off and found his head mashed, and he was dead. This was purely accidentally and unavoidable.
