Transcription: 

William S Moore Being Duly Sworn Says I was in company with my Brother Wiley Moore when the Body of Mary MacDaniel was found in Cane Creek. I think she was Drowned She lived with me it was about one mile from my house to the creek I live on the Burnsides farm She was crasey [sic] She was in the habit of wandering off She went off Sunday the 11th Jany AD 1891 Saw no signs of any one have Been there it was Monday morning the 12th of January that we found her When found found the Lower part of the Body was in the Deeper part of the water.
