Miss Laura Pinson being sworn testified: I saw a difficulty between AC Nelson and LF Pinson on Thursday morning the 11 Dec 1890. I am sister of L.F. Pinson. The difficulty took place before sunrise down in father's field - about 250 yards from father's house. I was in father's house at the time where I could see distinctly - My brother... and Mr Nelson were fighting and I told borther Jude to go down and separate them. LF Pinson went and before he got to Mr Nelson, Nelson knocked him down. I could[n't] tell what he struck LF Pinson with. I suppose they were about 10 feet apart when the blow was struck.
