Searsey, war fireman on my Engine After we arrived the train master ordered me to do some drilling Just as the cars came opposite my Engine, I saw the service Train Engine Running towards me. I could not go back on main line it being blocked. I threw the brakes on and held my Engine to keep the other Engine from knocking me off the main line, I saw my fireman jump out on the left side of the Engine, I did not see the cars run over him, next time I saw him he was under the front of the cars on the right side. I came back and coupled to the cars and oulled them off him, he told me when I went to him if he had not slipped down it would not have caught him. I saw he was mangled by the cars running on him.
