Nancy Goudelock being duly sworn says she is the mother of the deceased. That deceased was 21 months old and had been sick two weeks but was better witness was working on J. Goudelock's farm on Dr MM Hawkin's land which is in Laurens County state of South Carolina... about 4 oclock witness saw her dwelling in flames... and was told by the other children that was was in the house that the fire was so strong that they could not get him out.
