N.S. Fowler sworn sayes he is a RR hand, on the C.N. & L. R.R. (Flagman) about 8.30. yesterday we were fixing to leave here, Will Metts was one of our hands, he was on ladder on the end of Box car in swinging off was caught between the car and the platform and crushed to death. It was unavoidable and could only have been his own negelct to see the platform.
