[1st witness] Lee Moore, sworn, says we were fishing yesterday on little River, we asked my father to go down among the lakes and find another place to fish, he said he would call for us. We went and made and two draws in the lake and found his hat, swimming on the water, I went round the lake to see if I could find where he went in, but could find no signs, this was about 4 or 5 oclock in the evening... I was not present when the body was found. [2nd witness] Jno P. May sworn says I got a long pole with a fork on it and commenced hunting for him. After a little search, I found the body and pulled it to the surface with my pole, this was about 8 oclock in the night the body had been in the water 3 hours or more...
