Transcription: 

Mrs. E.I. Bell, sworn, says she is the wife of Hayne Bell. About 8 oclock this morning, I was in the dining room. I heard a gurgling sound in the room. I called twice, getting no answer. I went in to the room found my husband lying on the floor and the pool of blood on him and the floor. I turned him over, found the the wound on his throat.
