W.B. Greight being duly sworn says, The car was unloaded. They finished unloading the car. The car then moved off and Tom Griffen the deceased jumped on the ladder to go on top of the car. When he got to the top of the car his hat blew off and just as that happened the car that he was on found [?] the end of another car and I saw his hat fall offf and I think when his hat fell he grabbed for it and slipped, lost his balance I think and fell but I did not see him fall. the next thing I saw was the car load of lumber bounce up where it had run over him... He was dead when I saw him after this: this occured at the freight deport in Winnsboro, Fairfield County. Occured about fifty feet from the place this examination is goingon. I saw no fault on the part of any living person concerned with this death. I have thought since that it was the snow shoes that he had on that made him slip.
