JE Douglass being duly sworn says he lives in Fairfield County - Having heard that there was some possibility of the child being choked to death. I made a thorough examination of ossophagus & bronchial tubes, found them in normal condition, as were also all other internal organs. I then examined the head found a contusion on head, & on opening the skull found the different dones that go to make up the skull were not united as they should be in a child of 3 months. Between the skull & brain there was clotted blood. From the condition of scalp, skull & brain, would decide that the child came to its death from either a blow or fall on its head. Death resulting from concussion of Brain.
