Sandy Thomas sworn Yesterday Charly & I were going to Riverway opposite the Boyles house in the road when it begain to rain heavy Charles said lets go in this old house out the rain. We went in the old house. A flash of lightning came in the window out the Door, we were lying Down at the time. He got up & went to the door & stood there sometime - five minutes another strike then came through. He then jumped out the door & told me to stay there till he came back - he was going to Mr Boyles. He went on. I stayed there about an hour- the rain hard all the time & getting tired of waiting went for him. I found him about 100 yds from the place we were. He was lying across the path on his stomach in a flat place. I immediately turned & went to R. for Reuben Jones.
