Isaac Crosby of Fairfield County in the said State a witness on behalf of the State of South Carolina being duly sworn and examined according to law before me HJFW Coleman Trial Justice acting as Coroner for the said County holding an inquest over the Dead body of Lizzie May Crosby infant of Isaac and Ella Crosby, said The child was well up to about 9 oclock P.M. when we went to bed, about midnight my wife mother of the child, nursed it and it partook of the nursing, I knew nothing more about the child till this morning between daylight and sunup, when I found it on the bed behind my wife dead. I dont know how or from what cause it died.
