Gilbert Entzminger after being sworn says he left home at dinner and returned at sunset and in half an hour afterwards discovered the said infant to be dead, aged four months. Mary Brown, the mother of infant after being sworn says that she came home a little before sundown, but supposing the said infant was asleep did not disturb it, and about half an hour after dark she went to it and found it was dead, She wsa in thehabit of leaving it from dinner time till dark. She does not believe there was any foul play. She says the child was well and hearty when she left at twelve oclock. She left to go to picking cotton.
