Manda Leightner. Sworn & testifies I was at my house when Robert Murrel came to the house and told me his Mother had fell in the cowpen. I went with some camphire to rub her found deceased nearly dead I went for my Husband I got back in a few minutes found her dead She has bein in bad health all the year shw was well as usual all that day untill she fell in the cowpen I can't say what was the cause of her death Katie McMeckin Sworn & testified I Suppos Elizabeth Leightner had bin down in the cowpen about fifteen minutes when I went to her I found her she was still living but died in a few moments deceased was not able to speak after I got to her. I can't say what caused he death She was as well as usual up to a short time before she died Peter Ashford Sworn & testified when I got to deceased there was Several others there I workedwith her for some time but found she was dead I then left for the nearest neighbours house to get help to cary her to the house I cant Say what caused her death She has bin in bad health all the year had difficuly in breathing. I am Shure she has had no difficulty with any one to cause suspicion of violence Dr. E. A. Gibson Sworn & testified I have attended deceased and She was subject to heart disease I am Satisfied She died with heart disease the body is so far decomposed that it is impossible to make and acurate examination
