Bell &c. arrived at the place where the dead body now before us was wounded that he James McCants was lying on his back with his right leg badly broken, back part of his head dredfully bruised & cut often, and apparently not breathing for a few minutes when he began to breath irregularly or as one dying. The period from the accident to his death was say about one hour & a half.
