THIRD WITNESS: Mr. Jake Bray, duly sworn, testified as follows: Q. Where do you live? A. Athens, Georgia 1855 W. Board St. Q. What is your profession? A. buying used cars and tractors. . . Q. How far were you from the truck that Mr. Norman was driving? A. The length of a telephone pole or maybe more. I would say 150 ft. or maybe 200 ft. Q. How as was the truck he was driving going? A. Around 35 or 40 miles per hour. Not over 45 at the most. . . I saw this automobile approaching and at about the same time it went toward the truck and caused a collision. . . Where did Mr. Norman stop on the highway after he was hit? A. On the left shoulder of the highway going South. About 50 yards from the accident. The brakes were knocked out of the commission on the 47 Ford. The weight of the truck seemed to got to the left side causing the truck to go to the left when it stopped. . .
