FIRST WITNESS, W. T. CRAWFORD, DULY SWORN, TESTIFIED AS FOLLOWS: I was driving the truck. It occurred about 9:45 when we went across this bridge. I think it is a county road. The bridge is about twenty or twenty-five feet long. One side of the bridge gave way. Just as I got off the bridge the truck went down. Mr. Tolson was sitting on the wood with his feet on the cab. When the chain broke I did not see Mr. Gainey, but Mr. Tolson came down by me with the chain on him. He came down side of the truck. We were hauling pine pulp. It was a regular ford truck. I did not have on an extra load. We generally pull about a cord or a cord and a half. He fell about twenty or twenty-five yards. He fell off the left hand side of the truck. I think the back wheels left the bridge. One block fell right at the bridge. When I actually fot there he was, he was lying a little on the right side of the road.
