I got Kester Seller to help me & we pulled him out -- Mathews was near door of cell Matt were to my right was red locks. He didn't say anything. I don't know how it started. I didn't look in window. Dan Quick -- I saw them lock him up -- He said he didn't want to go in Back cell. Mr. Perdue said you'll have to go in there & put in they sey ans locked door. I don't know were he was drink or not. The took him from car to Jail he was struggling to keep them from carring him to the Jail 30 min. after locked him up Mr. Press Pakon said he was gone to talk to him He asked us if we knew Marion Johnson he asked us to get him so he could get out of jail. I said I smell cloth burning he said I believe bed on fire. He said he would like to get police to let him out. He didn't look to see if bed was on fire. . . .
Mrs. W. T. Moody -- he was my son 25 yrs old. . . Sunday night his wife came to me & said Fleetwood was in Jail in Patrick she said he was sick & took B. C. & went to sleep driving car. I told Mr. Seegars to take care of him he said he would said he took knife & matches etc. away from him. Mr. Seegars brought them home I don't know where any of them could drink or not. Mr. Perdue messed with him. Seegars said he had key with him. . .
