Annie Lawry -- I saw it occur -- about -- mile west of Mt. Croghan -- at Mt. Croghan Park Sat Dec 12-1936. about 4 o'clock in Chest. County. Little Boy was down in culunt at park ran across road. He ran into side of car. I didn't notice car I was on wagon going toward Pageland . . . I don't know who was driving car. Car applied brakes when he hit car. Car stopped and man came back to Boy. Man came on down toward. Doctor come. Boy was behind wagon into side of car
A. [?] Thompson -- I was in car. Mr. James C. Crawford was driving car. . . I didn't see it happen. I heard noise. heard Mr. Crawford yell. Looked out rear glass of car. saw Boy roll one or two times in middle of road. We got out of car soon as possible. Mr. Damon & myself just & by after seeing child. We pushed Mr. Crawford back in car told him he wouldn't want to see it just as I closed car door. Little boy's cap was still on handle of car. I caught ride into Mt. Croghan bring Boy's Brother so we could notify his father. . .
