Neil Perdue, a witness on behalf of the State having duly sworn says I knew John M. Winburn. I saw the body in J. C. Winburns house on the 20th day of April 1887. The body was just like it was when taken out of the water -- being very wet and muddy -- this was near 1 o'clock P. M. Myself & John Perdue undressed, washed and redressed the body, body was slightly warm. I could not say that there was ant marks of violence on the body . . . Johnnie was about 3 years old. . . .
