Evidence of Mary Hough . . . Alexander Hough just turned in his 4th year. She went off to hunt the calf . . . and when she came back and milked the cow the child was going. She with others went out at once to hunt the child we found his track on the road . . . went some distance and turned back to a Branch this was the morning the child went off. The next time witness saw the childs track it was going In the Direction of Swift creek. They followed the tack on to Swift creek and there found the child in the water of said creek. The child was dead and floating on the water. . .
