Henry Harrison Sworn Says -- He John Campbell, Isham Rogers, Harry Boatwright & Harry Johnsons went to Thompson Creek last Sunday morning we all went in washing the deceased went with us. I was setting on the bank, John Campbell, Harry Johnson, Jim McDaniel and Jim Campbell left the creek and left me (witness). Isham Rogers, Harry Sellers and Aaron Rogers (the deceased) and Eddie Campbell at the Creek. We did not go in the creek until they had left none of us could Swim except Ed Campbell. We were all playing Aaron (the deceased) came out of the Creek and lay down in the Sand he then went back into the Creek and said he was going to wash the sand off him and when he started out Isham Rogers caught hold of him and pulled him back. Aaron said "quit buddie" and laughed. Aaron and Isham both went under the water. I caught Isham and pulled him out. Aaron jumped up three times and then stoped kicking. Isham got a Stick and tried to reach Aaron but could not. We then went to the road where the other boys were. We all went back to look for Aaron but could not find him. He was drowned in Thompson creek below Purvis' Bridge.
